Featured on Oprah a big risk?

Now, here’s something completely different!

Eileen Gravelle has just published an excellent article on the huge impact that getting featured on Oprah can make to previously unknown brands. Although Eileen specializes in anti-aging skin care issues, the principles apply equally to the world of music recording.

And what are the principles?

  • Oprah often selects relative “unknowns” to feature on her show – so maybe there’s a chance for you…
  • If your product or service is featured on Oprah, you business can go from obscurity to household name overnight. Wow!
  • But there are risks – if your product or service fails to deliver on the promises, or worse, causes damage to other people, you may regret the day your offer was aired to Oprah’s 9,000,000 viewers! Ouch!!
